I have just found out that there will be a special edition ascend with 2.2 froyo for metro pcs!!! This probably means the update will be soon.

Everytime I am on my phone it always says 1x and never 3g. Since metro now lets you roam on sprints network will I be able to use sprints 3g?

Ever since I got this phone the battery was terible. Is there another type of battery I can purchase to put in my phone. Also how the heck do I even get to the battery, it seems like the manufacturer didn't want anyone to get to the battery.

Since metro pcs launched 4g i was wondering if the ascend would be able to use 4g. I am also hoping that metro will get 3g if 4g is only compatible with their one phone that says it supports 4g LTE. When will the ascend get android 2.2???????????
