I have just found out that there will be a special edition ascend with 2.2 froyo for metro pcs!!! This probably means the update will be soon.

and by the specs on the metro site, no hardware improvements listed thats any diff than the reg ascend. Well except 2.2 on the SE.

yep yep, posted about that to someone on here a few days back, letting them know your buying the same phone but with a diff color and 2.2 lolz metro should be a shame of themselves...(SMH)

Lol wow obviously not but I was under the impression that it may have the correct drivers with 2.2.

dont think the mms.apk will fix anything if u have a rom installed tat doesnt have mms working

So that means my ascend won't go 2.2. (Their answer was re-releasing the ascend with 2.2 rather than upgrading current ones.) Gotcha. 2.1 works better for me anyway.

No but, I can send it forward for the devs. They will incorporate it into their roms/new builds. ^^.

Actually, It's been shown that certain Ascends DO have the actual hardware screen that is compatible with MT. Though since it's not all models, They cannot actually release software compatible with all the phones. Cheap phones and their different parts. >.>

i would also lol....

for the tapout version to be clocked that high, it would require a diff proc. the fastest we could push the proc, stably, was 710.
