When I woke up this morning (my phone was charging all night) it was at 100% charge, then when I pulled it out after a few minutes I check it again and it's suddenly at 54% charge. WTF?

When I turn the display on, or go to the homescreen, the screen flashes black for a fraction of a second and it's getting pretty annoying, it happens when I use Go Launcher as well. Does this happen to everyone or is it just me?
