You might pull the battery out and see if the moisture indicator on the battery is pink. If its pink then the phone has gotten wet. You can also try a hard reset.
1. Power the phone off.
2. Press and hold Volume Down and Power.
3. Keep holding both buttons until you see the Android logos appear on the screen.
4. Use the Volume Down button to toggle the selection and highlight Factory Reset.
5. Use the Power button to choose Factory Reset.
The HTC Inspire 4G will then complete the hard reset process. SD card data like music and photos will stay intact.
If the phone is just totaly and completely dead and will not light up in any way then you may have a nearly un-fixable problem. you could also try a new battery. If you buy one tho make sure you keep the reciept just in case it doesnt work and you have to return it, I hope this helps at least helps a little bit.
