When I push the headphone jack all the way in while playing a YouTube video the video stops and the music app comes up. IF I pull it a little way out I can hear the video but its all crackling. Not sure if this is normal. Just got this so I need to know if I should take it back Thoughts?

I got a brand new Samsung Note 10.1 2 days ago. I think the head phone jack is messed up. When I watch youtube and I push it in all the way it goes directy to the music app. If I pull it out a little I can hear youtube but it stops the video. I don't get it. Is this a feature in the tablet...
