I just purchased a desk dock and when I dock the phone and try to use the hmdi feature nothing shows on the screen.it says on the phone "problem loading widget" is that what is stopping it from working?

I am having troubles accessing secure sites on both my samsung fascinate and when it is tethered to my desktop I can get into my microsoft outlook, but not any banking websites. Can anyone help. I get so message saying the server is busy or request is taking too long. Any help would be appreciated
