i got the cwm what do i do now do i go back to the rom manager or do i backup and restore through this download

After you download it, you get an app that allows you to see files on your phone...a file manager program, then you go to wherever you put the app on your phone, open it up, install it. It will now be in your app list.
Quick question, are you rooted?

sammyz i read and download the files now im trying to figure out how to get the download on my phone. i did put the root exployer on my phone so what file can i load it in to. none of the files show up in debugging mode
