    ok..So i have worked it out ( sort of ) that i can flash kernel via the app SGS kernel flasher ( on XDA and market ) I need to get the 2e recovery mode so i can flash a custom rom.     Root ROOT issues AGAIN

    So i got my galaxy s in October last year... rooted the phone and installed OCLF. All was well in my little android world until I foolishly went to update to Froyo via Kies and forgot to remove OCLF. I bricked the phone and the had to take it in to a Samsung Service Centre to get it fixed...
