    Root is this a bad thing?

    I temp rooted with visionary...perm root is not sticking so I was able to unroot and deleted visionary but the main reason why I have deleted visonary is because I'm trying to find out why my shift get stuck on the htc screen when I go into recovery or factory reset... Can anyone help?
