My wifi connection in the house gets 40 mbps. When I connect my phone to the wifi I am only able to download 5 mbps. My upload speed is fine. When I go to wifi settings and tell it to forget my network and then I reconnect by entering my password my download speed returns to a normal 40 mbps...

Does using a regular charger instead of a fast charging one ruin the battery in any way?
