So the evo animations run embarrassingly compared to droid x on the UI. I was at the verizon store yesterday comparing them even the htc incredible runs smoother as far as the interface goes. Will rooting make this better? I'm sure the EVO is capable even more than any of those two phones.

Can someone explain to me the pros and cons of rooting and if its easy? Can it break your evo?

Everytime I restart/turn on my EVO it sends out one random text to one random person that I have sent before. Anyone else?

When I go to camera for example and i press home and it goes back to the hone page with the weather widget thing and the clock, the screen is raised then comes back down quickly on screen and only camera its weird? Never used to do it. My brothers also does it. Anyone else?

My evo makes this weird noise when it vibrates while typing. The 4 touch buttons on the bottom also do it. Its like theres something loose in there and its vibrating. Sometimes almost like a click. Anyone else having this issue?

My first evo had light leakage I drove 20 miles just to exchange it and it has light leakage in the same exact spot. Slightly less though. What ever I'm not going to let it stop me from enjoying this phone I got a nice Seidio case and it covers the leakage. Btw I logged in my gmail account...

got a call from my brother bc we both have evos and he said that with 2.2 the battery is ridiculously better and many other things. A lot faster too. Sorry if this has been posted I just got excited o:)
