I have the original Moto G and need to update the above but it seems that I have to pick the correct one for my mobile and I'm unsure what to do.
I don't want to install the wrong version for my mobile and stop it from working.
Surely these important updates can be made easier to update than...
As far as I know I use the stock Android Messaging app and it's been working fine.
I don't know if it's a coincidence, but I updated the '3' app (my mobile network), restarted my mobile and noticed in notifications it was showing two text messages.
I tapped to read them but it only showed one...
Never had a problem with the battery, but now since updating to 5.1 the battery only lasts half a day.
Fully charged it last night @ 2100 and I have not used it today.
It is now 1545 and the battery is nearly drained!
What is going on?
Is there anything I can do to sort this problem out?
Thanks
I had a 'system update' pop up in the notifications, but when I tap to find out more information, nothing happens.
It might be the 'Marshmallow' update but as I can't get any information, I don't know.
I'm trying to work out what happens when I have the caller id set with 'Hide number'.
If I sent a text would the person receiving the text be able to reply?
Thanks
I do not want to reset my Moto G after updating to 5.0.2
I have not had a lot of problems, but am wondering if there is anything else I can do which would help since updating?
Thanks
Hi
Just updated my Moto G (original) to Lollipop but I don't like it so far - I suppose I will eventually.
Using the default keyboard predictive text - The predicted word would pop up above in the middle, and before I could just press 'space' and the predicted word would appear in my message...
Just wondering if the 'auto brightness' setting uses a lot more power on the Moto G?
I've heard that it can on certain phones, but I now have version 4.4.4 and wonder if it uses any more power than if leaving the brightness setting at half way?
Thanks
Just wandering if this is normal behavior on the Moto G?
When I restart (every month or so) at least a couple of apps disappear where I placed them on the home screen - there is blank space where they once were!
I then have to drag the app to the blank area again (if I can remember which app...
If it doesn't, is there a trustworthy free app which can give this information without sucking a lot of power out of the battery?
I came across:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.vonkannen.calldurationlite
I have not installed it yet.
Is there any other apps worth looking at...
I charged the Moto G yesterday.
This afternoon I heard the Moto G make a sound - it had rebooted itself, but when it had restarted a warning popped up saying I needed to charge it as I only had 1% of power left!
What has gone wrong, as it was fully charged the day before and I have hardly used...
Just wondering if it would be alright to clean the screen every few months with an antiseptic wipe.
Not because I am unhygienic but friends do pick my phone up every so often, and you don't know where their hands may have been..........:D
