    I can post the question on the thread if you want, i didn't think you omitted anything, had thought maybe you missed the 13 on accident. i pressed enter after the 'echo' cmd, i missed that one, i am a little forgetful like that.

    It's actually thoughtful of you, but posting this question to the thread would have been great too because someone else may have had the same idea as you or same problem. Oh, I just misnumbered, nothing's missing but thx for heads up...I changed the numbering. As far as the "echo..." I also say to press enter afterwards. I didn't think reboot recovery was necessary, but I'm assuming you mean that simply typing reboot doesn't work so I'll add a notation to my guide. Btw, instead of typing "exit" try staying in the adb shell, with the # sign and type "reboot recovery" then of course press enter.

    hello, sorry to bother you, i didnt want to flood your thread though.

    i dont know if you noticed or not, your missing step 13 on your guide, i managed to get passed it with Jcase's list, it went "echo 'ro.kernel.qemu=1' > /data/local.prop, ENTER."
    then "exit", then "adb reboot recovery"

    is this what jacked me up, or am i missing a step somewhere else to keep getting the reboot: operation not permited ?
