In facebook, when someone comments on a photo I'm tagged in, my phone vibrates and the message is displayed across the top in the phone's 'notification area'. How do you stop this? I've tried turning off 'push notifications' in the settings within the facebook app but to no avail. I'm sure...

This often happens when the little clip that holds the simcard comes loose under the battery, however usually pressing it in place stops the problem, however this time it wont rectify it. Any ideas what's wrong?!?
