    Help Question about Wifi vs 3G preference

    I'm completely new to Android so forgive me if this is a stupid question. I just got my SGS. The plan that I'm on doesn't have gobs and gobs of data, which is fine, because wherever I would need lots of data I have access to wifi and I'll only ever need to check e-mail or look at google maps...
