First, I have to say that the signal on the S3 is TERRIBLE on T-Mobile. I don't know what's going on but with my older blackberry, I usually get a minimum of 3 bars in my room. With the S3, I get no more than 1 bar. Most of the time, it goes to 0 bars and causes texts and calls to not go...

For the past 3 years, I had a Blackberry 8900 (yes the one with the ball). I've used it in my basement with no issues. If anything, I'd get down to 3 bars once in a while. I've never had signal issues, especially being in the Chicago area. I just switched to the S3, and I rarely get signal down...
