Imagine a thin, bright, HDMI-Out enabled Gingerbread phone with a dual core. The Optimus 2x could have been their touch-wizzy experiment and their LG B could have been a real standout phone for the AOSP. :( Le sigh.
I wanna get it, badly. I just hope CM works on it.
4.3" Evo size is just way to big for a phone. Don't ask me why I think the .3" makes a huge difference but to me, it does. I also NEED the TV out via the headphone jack. If they retain those 2 features from the Galaxy S then this Vibrant is getting sold along with my iPod touch and I'm buying...
I love my Vibe, but if the S has a 4" inch screen and not a 4.3" or a 4.5" as I've read around, I think I might bite. Anyone else?
Where do you think we would be able to profit from more, ebay or Craigslist for selling a phone?
With features like the new streaming music app google is bringing out, I hope they put it in the market and not only built into 2.3
I'm a bit worried about Sammy's support beyond Froyo. I know this isn't something you haven't already heard, but it's worth noting. With the Galaxy Tab...
Thats the only thing that bugs me about this phone. I have two and i end up blowing through them both in 8 hrs. Yes i stream music and web browse but damn. Lol. I even froze all the bloat and drm.
I'm buying my girlfriend a phone for her birthday. She's out of contract and I figure picking up the Moto Defy would be a nice gift. She has a Blackberry 8900 that she hates but she loved my G1 and now my Vibrant. Anyway, here are the specs of the phone for those who don't know...
Android...
Rooted my replacement Vibrant but didn't wanna remove the bloatware right away in case future froyo required it. So, I tried just freezing the apps with Titanium. This makes sure they never start up when you turn your phone on and they are removed from the app drawer. You just unfreeze them...
I got ballsy and since T-Mo is sending me a new phone since this one is Hardware locked and I can't get into ODIN, I opened up mini Kies and got the new firmware. All it did was re-install all the bloat I deleted before and got rid of root.
I don't know if this is universal or I got lucky...
for another Vibrant! HAHA. I wouldn't get rid of this bad boy. Too much potential. T-Mo is sending me a new phone. They ASSURED me the new batch was not hardware locked. Not only that, it's coming in a Vibrant box, not a brown box... she said there hasn't been a lot of returns on this phone so...
No one guessed 10/7/10 for the GPS fix so everyones "sources" were wrong. Let's just enjoy the fix and when 2.2 comes, it comes. Let's be surprised!
No? You guys are impatient!
No, you won't be able to use this everywhere. (Unless you have a portable TV).
1. Connect your Galaxy S to a TV/monitor/etc. using these:
Amazon.com: Microsoft Zune 30GB, 80GB, 4GB, 8GB AV ( Audio Video ) RCA Cable - 4.5 Feet: Electronics
2. Go into options and turn TV Out on.
3. Go...
I didn't make this, I just found it on the LP forums. Figured it would be cool for people who like the look of TWiz but think it's laggy.

Looks cool. I dig it.
To the detractors, yes- it has it's flaws. Every piece of technology has flaws. No one or thing is perfect. Some of our phones lag, some of our phones have wonky GPS's. Guess what? The iPeople have flawed devices too. I had a BB and it had flaws too. Life is too short to go crazy. I'm an android...
I post at a bunch of different forums but I love the Phandroid forums the most :) Here is a site I use for wallpapers. They are a little "out there", but they are very artistic. All of the images come in different sizes. Check it out.

I do some Craigslisting and I notice that anytime I email someone they automatically get added to my contact list. This is frustrating. Anyone know how to turn this off in TW3?
