My battery goes to low after about six hours any tips to save it? I don't use gps but it always shows running delete it? Also is active wallpaper vs normal that big of a battery sidewinder? Thanks!!

On the Vibrant the guy at TMO told me it doesn't need a screen protector because the screen is "practically" scratch resistant. Was he just blowing smoke up my backside or do I really not need a screen protector to...well.... protect the screen?
