I am sorry to say I will not be able to help out much. I sold my indulge a month or so ago and got the Mercury! I never tryed using SOC on the 2.3.6 upgrade. The only thing I might suggest is unplugging and replugging the usb cable quickly to see if that helps any. Good luck and sorry once again.

im using superoneclick on my indulge and it gets to step#7 waiting for device and never moves from there, by the way i have update 2.3.6
