Hey guys,
Everything is working fine on the phone but when I connect it to my computer the Internal SD card get mounted but the External one doesn't. When I browse the folders on my phone I can go through the external card's files and everything works fine but it just doesn't show up on my...
Hey guys,
I just messed up my phone pretty bad. I forgot to disable lagfix before flashing a new kernel and now my sd card cannot be mounted. This is the error i get:
Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 (or /dev/block/mmcblk0p1)
Can't mount SDCARD: copy default media content failed.
I tried...
Hi all,
I have a i9000m galaxy from Bell under Rogers in Canada and ever since flashed the Froyo jpm rom on it, i've been getting bad reception everywhere. Even in open areas where I usually would have 4 bars sometimes I get 2 bars. It's not just the bars, my calls are starting to drop randomly...
Hi all,
I just flashed froyo (I9000xxjpm, 2.6.32.9) on my vibrant which is from Bell in Canada. Everything works fine but when I try to reboot into the recovery using Rom Manager, it reboots and tries to install an update.zip file and then it fails with a message of "signature verification...

Hey guys,
I have a Galaxy S Vibrant i9000m and was thinking of flashing a new rom. Now if the froyo update for the vibrant EVER gets released I'll need to flash back to my stock rom in order to update my firmware. I already backed up my rom using rom manager, but my question is:
Will this...
Hi all,
I've been having trouble installing Kies on my PC. During the installation it goes up to 38% and then it stops. I tried installing it on 2 different PC's but got the same result so I was wondering if its possible to get the update without Kies.
Hi all,
Vibrant's screen is just ridiculously bright and sometimes even the minimum brightness is still too much for me. I've noticed that the screen's brightness goes lower than minimum when the battery is at 10% or lower, is there anyway to set the brightness that low manually? Thanks in advance.
Hi all,
I was wondering what would be the easiest way to remove the MCR Scripts lagfix? I don't mind doing a hard reset but will that get my phone to the out-of-the-box shape? Thanks in advance
Hey guys,
I've been reading stuff about task manager apps and now i think it's safe to say that they do more harm to the phone than they do good. But how about the stock task manager on the vibrant? There are apps such as the music player that won't close unless you "end" them in the task...
Hey guys,
I have been monitoring my battery consumption for a while now and noticed that on minimum brightness, with screen timeout set on 15 secs, always 50% to 80% of my battery is being used by the screen! I was wondering if anyone else is getting a similar battery consumption?
hey guys,
I rooted my vibrant and then i installed an update.zip file to fix the lag and during that process my phone's screen went black i waited like 7 minutes. the phone wouldn't do anything when i pressed the buttons so i just pulled out the battery. Now when i start the phone it goes past...
Hey guys,
I've heard that today's batteries' health depends on how many cycles they have gone through, and considering this it should be wise to leave the phone plugged in while fully charged and under heavy use. This way you will delay the cycle and get a "healthier" battery. This was just...
