    do launchers use additional resources?

    If I were to run a launcher, would touchwiz still be running in the background - sapping up additional resources- or would the launcher simply replace touchwiz, causing the phone to run more efficiently?

    (sprint) trouble with messenger app

    I have the messenger app in the shortcut bar. The indicator that is overlayed on the shortcut still shows a number even after all text messages have been deleted/read. Sometimes my email shortcut does this too. Any ideas?
