When I received my device, Skype was pre-installed on the stock ROM, but after flashing to Tim's ROM 5a, I am not able to find Skype in the market and I'm not able to find an APK anywhere. Anyone got around this problem?

For everyone who is using Tim's latest ROM, would you recommend using it? Any major negatives when using the ROM? Is there a chance of ending up with a brick whilst flashing it? My device: http://i.imgur.com/JqkT1.jpg (chinagrabber) Never flashed a device before so I'm quite unsure.
