Thanks. Your pictures of the device, the box, and several of the screenshots confirm : same device. Small differences in numbers shown though : e.g. the boot screen showing "Android v2.3" has other numbers in the lower right. Everything else looks similar though.

After this Market fix, I see a lot of apps that weren't there before. But some are still missing. E.g. com.kbc.mobile.android.phone.kbc . Any clues ?

You mention a usual bug in the android market. How can I work around it ? I have the same tablet as you describe. Thanks.
