About 2 weeks I ago I remember reading a thread about being able to just move your apps over from sd-ext after flashing a new rom versus redownloading from play store or using Titanium Back-up but now I can seem to find it anywhere. Can anyone point me in the right direction.:confused:
I already have my SD card partitioned, have for a long time. Its currently upgraded to ext3 but a few new ROMS out there suggest upgrading to ext4. My question is do I need to reformat my card and then repartition or can I just upgrade to ext4? Another questions is how will upgrading to ext4...
Ok so I switched from amon RA 2.3 recovery to the SMELKUSMOD amon RA Mason recovery. My question is will my nandroids that I made on amon RA 2.3 work on the SMELKUSMOD recovery and vice versa?

I just got a Xoom and am thinking about rooting it. I currently have an EVO 4G that I have rooted and know that there are a few different recoveries that can be used. I was wondering if this is the same for the Xoom? And if so is there one that is better or more preferred than another?
