So I was getting ready to flash a new ROM tonite and was wiping my phone when I accidentally wiped my SD card, man I feel like and idiot. I am now in the process of usb toggling over some of my saved info. My question is if I move over my nandroid folder can I just restore one of those or do I have to flash a new ROM before I can restore a nandroid back-up?

You should be able to just move the nandroid BUT it needs to be in the proper folders example Nandroid/ht2345xxx/the file you want to restore.
so you will have the main folder named NANDROID then a sub folder that is phone specific then the nandroid. or the recovery wont find it.

There are apps that can do it. Basically when you delete things the content is still there untill it gets new content written over it. But given that he has already been transferring things back to the card its probably too late.

Same process for undeleting things on your computer.

If you ever delete your card again, immediately pull it.

not only pull it make sure the writing to the card is very limited. The less written to the card the better your chances. I use Testdisk and PhotoRec for my recovery needs. They have done me very well over the last few years. You will need a card reader. I prefer not to do this kind of operations on the phone as you can get distractions with the phone. Also when doing a recovery its best practice is to stay focused on what your doing. Not really a time for multi-tasking.
