When I look in the gallery and pics that I transffered to SD card it won't allow me to access them. It just shows a grey picture icon. But with new pics I take I can see them in the gallery on the SD card. Anyone have this problem and know how to fix?

I want to use the JB update but want to backup first. For some reason Kies will never backup properly now so it will have the x Icon next to pics, videos, and calander. How can I fix this problem or is there a reliable alt backup? thanks
