@ocnbrze Thanks for the video. After watching it: I don't know that the Kingston Expert Mouse quite qualifies as a gaming mouse. But it's close, and better in some ways! There's no mouse I'd rather use when playing video-games.
To answer my own question: My family and I are much more in the Amazon than the Google ecosystem (though we do use Google Maps and the Google app store). We're not big fans of Google here. Even though I have an iPhone myself (alongside my two Android tablets): I avoid the Apple ecosystem...
It's been a long time since I've used my trackball, but I think you can adjust that speed. As for how sensitive it is: It uses a laser to detect when the ball moves (except in the early models from the 90s or so), if that answers your question.
Your thumb? This is not a mini-trackball! You don't use your thumb to move the ball, you use your palm.
Edit: Or you move the ball with your fingers (that's what I did), which still leaves your thumb free to click the primary mouse button.

Gaming mice are lightweight so you can move the mouse with minimal effort, right? In this case: You don't have to move the mouse, so the weight of the mouse doesn't matter. You roll the ball that's on the mouse, that's how you move the cursor!
