Is Optimus M dual or tri band

So I was wondering what the M is. I know its not quad, 'cause our phone doesn't have a slot for a sim card. I've seen some posts that talk of 1700 and 1900 Mhz, does that mean dual band?

please google before you bump, it says even on the metro website that our phone is a tri-band phone.

Thank you for the kindly chastisement. I should have looked it up, but it was a half fleeting thought when I did the original post, and tonight I'm at work so didn't have a lot of time. I do thank you for your answer to me though.
