Root Samsung Galaxy J4

I'm trying to root a Samsung Galaxy J4 but it fails with no error.
First I tried flashing TWRP using Odin, which was successfult, but the phone could not boot into the TWRp recovery, so I could not proceed.
The bootloader is unlocked and it's running a version for July 2018.

Try the battery removal trick.
Uncheck Auto Reboot in Odin. Flash TWRP then unplug the USB cable and remove the battery.
Replace the battery and use the button combination to boot into recovery. Once in TWRP, flash your root solution, Magisk or SuperSu.
Hopefully, you already have OEM Unlocking selected in Developer Options.

What's the combination for the J4 please?

(i think you asking) vol down+power+home until warning screen then it is:volume up.

the whole instructions is here:

This is just booting to the OS normally. OK, to boot into download mode on this phone I have to press both the Volume down + home key then insert the USB while holding them. After flashing the TWRP using odin, it passes as successful but I cannot boot into the TWRP recovery afterwards.

Try pressing and holding power, volume up and home till phone starts to boot, then release power only while holding the other two.

This may work. The phone flashes the TWRP logo very quickly then goes to the normal recovery mode. The TWRP logo just pops then dissappears. Still not booting to TWRP

Things may have changed since my days using Samsung phones. Look here

I want to boot into this mode here:

But it is booting into this one here below:

Stock recovery will overwrite TWRP on reboot.
After flash with Odin, doing the battery trick, booting into recovery then flashing Magisk usually makes it stick.
