G Boom suddenly quiet

Rgarner

My friend with the G Boom bluetooth speaker accidentally left it unplugged for maybe a day or two. It's been plugged back in and I guess the red light is off but it's still really quiet, even at max. Could being unplugged have damaged it? Is there any way to fix this?

the only thing being unplugged for awhile is that it could damage your battery life. it should not affect anything else hardware wise. was it left outside? did it get water damage? was it dropped?

As far as I know, it was not outside or wet. It probably was not dropped either, but I can't say for sure. Should I test it with another phone?

Guess what. It does work with my phone, though it took some fiddling. Now how do we get it to work with his?

Ok, it's almost certainly a problem with the LG X Charge and/or its connection with the G Boom. They're finally working together but not loudly enough. The LG seems to work all right with the Wonderboom, another, smaller bluetooth soeaker. Yes, I went to sound settings and media's up all the way.
