Help with FRP (Factory Reset Protection) on 2nd hand purchase

I bought a Note 9 from a seller and when i went to set it up the samsung phone asked for the password before it was factory reseted and i contacted the seller and he is not responding so i need help

Without a correct Gmail account and password your locked out.

yeah it turns out FRP is a pretty good security feature google has implemented. you will need the contacts info if you want the phone up and running. also it is frowned upon discussing ways around frp.

If you purchased on eBay, you can contact eBay and they will step in and help make contact with the seller. If its a legit purchase, the seller will be more than happy to accommodate. If the phone was stolen or something nefarious, you will find out.

If you bought private party you maybe out of luck if no response.
