Help Galaxy S10+/Gear S2 Notification Issues

Good morning everyone.

I stay pretty up to speed on tech, but I have been stumped by this one.

Verizon sent out a recent Security/patch update, after that patch was released my watch has not been receiving notifications from my phone. Let me correct that, I receive email notifications. But nothing from text messaging, Hangouts, Discord, my games. It is frustrating I stay very busy with my work and missing out on notifications for work related business is hurting.

Things I have done.

Factory Reset on Watch.
Factory Reset on Phone.
Verified all settings.
Reset all setttings.

I would love a fix for this as soon as possible. Any guidance you guys can offer is greatly appreciated. Many thanks and have a great day.

check to see if the app that syncs with your watch needs an update. i know that with my galaxy gear, i have to make sure that the gear app is up to date or i will not get any notifications.
