Galaxy S8+....Google play music stops after few seconds. noticed "Background restriction on" and went thru steps to remove it, but was unsuccessful. Does anyone have ANY ideas?

Thank you ocnbrze.
I discovered that there was a setting under battery in the settings whereby the app was put to sleep when after a period of time. By changing the setting I was able to fix the problem.

Brother that did it!. It was a PIA to find but Google Play Music was there. Looks like all is working fine again. Kudos!
