Is it a bad idea to buy a "used" Samsung tab s4 book cover keyboard?

Basically I could get the book cover keyboard for half price if I buy a used one. Will this be a bad idea? Also how does drawing work when using this case, does the keyboard get in the way when you want a flat surface to take notes? (with the s pen)

it should be ok as far as getting it used. just keep in mind that it is used and not new. as far your other inquiries, it will be hard to say without knowing which cover we are talking about. most should be ok as far as using it to draw or take notes.
