What's a good screen protector?

Hi all,
I just made the switch from the Apple ecosystem to my brand new ceramic white S10+ beauty. I got a screen protector from T-Mobile, but the texture is a little weird (it's not a tempured glass one), and I was wondering what was the best kind of screen protector out there. I've read many have fingerprint sensor issues, so not really sure what route to go.

i like zagg samsung galaxy s10+for my screen protectors

Have you tried it on the S10+? I've read many interfere with the fingerprint scanner. I've used zagg in the past though
no i have the note 8 and i am looking to upgrade to the note 10 when it comes out. i know i will get the zagg shield for it when it i do get it.....no doubt about it.

MY S10+ came with a screen protector already on it. Does yours not have one? Look carefully at the corners of the screen and see if you can see a built-in one.

It did have one, but it didn't feel very protective it felt very thin, so I got one from T-Mobile for like $30 but that one feels kinda rubbery and after a couple days is peeling off the sides and fuzz particles from who knows where keep getting stuck under the edges. I figured I should look into something better perhaps lol

That is interesting because the one that came with my S10 Plus apparently saved my screen from cracking about a week after I bought the phone. Don't know what happened but suddenly there was a hole in the protector where something must have hit it. The protector has a hole but the screen itself is still blemish free.

Now I am also looking for a new protector to replace the one that was already there so I will watch this thread for any good suggestions.

I use a liquid screen protector. Been using on my last 3 phones with no issues and works well with fingerprint scanner too. I haven't dropped it from great heights but it has slipped out of my hands face down on carpet, tile and wood floors with no damage. Some of the vendors sell with screen repair protection up to a certain amount of $$. I've never had to go through that process so can't speak to it. My screen is nice and bright. The one negative is it is a bit of a fingerprint magnet.

Might I ask what is the name of this liquid screen protector?

I stopped buying screen protectors for my phones for 2 years now. I believe that a hardware glitch is more probable than a broken screen after an accidental drop.

for you maybe, but me and my butter fingers can destroy a phone in a second, if it is not protected.

The Whitestone for Samsung Galaxy S10+, while slightly elevated in cost - is WELL WORTH every penny. Most important - my in screen fingerprint reader works PERFECTLY!!!

Shipped it comes with 2 screens & 2 glue tubes. Also included is a installation tray which positions the glass screen protector precisely onto the phones screen.

I'm new to the Forum, but I have been protecting my screens for years -The Whitestone Screen Protector is hands down, the best system I've ever used .... Simply watch the installation video, do a few 'dry-runs' and off ya go.... ZERO BUBBLES. I would include a link but I'm not sure if 'linking' is against the Forum rules, which I have not had a chance to read.... This post motivated me to sign up & share my experience with everyone

I have to admit to not being very good at installing these sorts of things. I always try to buy multi-packs because my first, and sometimes my second, effort does not result in a good installation and I need to do it again. However I just did an install of a new protector using this item:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SLZ2HB3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and the installation went perfectly. No bubbles and a good fit. It is a soft protector, not one of the glass types, but my fingerprint reader works properly and I am happy with it.
