How do I do that on my phone?

To take a screenshot on any Android device, press and hold, simultaneously, the 'volume down' button and 'power' button. It takes a second or two of simultaneously pressing both buttons. When successfully taken, you'll hear and see indications that it worked. You should also get a notification, with instructions to press it to see the screenshot.
