Help Speech to Text

Just switched to the G4 from the G3. Using the default messenger, the G3 let me push a microphone to talk my text messages instead of typing. Can't seem to find that on the G4 though. Is it available?

Default LG keyboard...the same as I used on the G3.

No...not unless I change keyboard to google which I dont like. Tried to go to settings, but cant find anything. You have the G4 with it?

You have to select Google Voice Typing in the settings or you won't have it.

Okay, do this:

LG Keyboard settings -> Keyboard height and layout -> Qwerty layout -> touch the Settings gear -> choose the mic icon

That should do it.

Hi there! I have no mic either ... no option for Google Voice Typing and no option for the Keyboard settings. Any ideas? Galaxy Note 3 ...

Hi. My LG G4 speech to text feature just stopped working. The microphone icon is still there, but when i attempt to use it, the 'tap to speak' screen pops up as in the past but now it says 'try again'. I took in in to my T-Mobile store; they confirmed all software is up to date. they are stumped it seems. Said maybe the software no longer supports that function...doesn't sound right to me. Any suggestions??
