Down grading S7 to lolipop help

Can anyone advise. I had until recently a Samsung S7. The phone ran on lolipop 5.1. This version suported a video editing app that had a special feature that split and mirrored the video. I created a whole project using it. The phone was stolen . I.ve replaced the s7 but it runs on a later version of android which doesnt have or support the origional video editor. I.ve looked at every app on the net that does the same thing but non of them save the video to the same HD format. I can do all of this on my PC in Hd. But the app let me see instant results that i could work with when fiming away from my PC. . Does any on know if i can revert an S7 To lolipop5.1 so i can continue my work. Thanks P

Sure it wasn't an older device, like S5 or S6? Because AFAIK the Galaxy S7 was originally released with Android 6 Marshmallow in Feb 2016, as was subsequently updated to Android 8 Oreo. Basically 5.1 Lollipop has never existed for the S7. Samsung has usually released their flagship Galaxy S series devices towards the beginning of the year with the latest Android versions at the time.

Thanks guys. Thanks for replying I.m sure you are right. Although this is Africa so strange things happen with electronics. When i found the origional video app on the Samsung web site it was for 5.1.1 so i presumed the s7 also must have run on 5.1 i googled 5 1 and it told me lolipop .after my phone went missing i bought a new S9+ which is great..how ever i.d still like to get that video app on to an S7.

So the original Samsung video app won't run on anything later than 5.1.1 Lollipop? Sure it won't run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow?

Thing is you're just not going to find a Samsung 5.1.1 firmware for a Galaxy S7, as Samsung never made that AFAIK. If you really do need to run this Samsung video app, you're going to have to find an older Samsung device, that had 5.1.1, like an S6 or Note 5.

BTW I know about some things Africa, as we have several thousand African students studying at universities here in Jinan, China.
