Some reason the app is having problems to update as it downloads the update and then when it is installing it it stops and then go's back to the install button.

do you have room on your device? is the app compatible for your phone? it might also help knowing what app we are talking about.
Try clearing the cache of the Play Store app and rebooting the phone.
