Someone help me with rooting

Ok, so before start I will not tolerate senior users saying something isn't possible unless it actually isn't. Ok, so now that out of the way, I need help rooting my phone. my phone model is In my account stuff. I have tried over 30 applications to try and root it and none of them have worked

May I assume from your comment that you've received such behavior on other forums? But this isn't other forums! :)

If you're told here that it can't be done, rest assured that to the best of the respondents' knowledge, it can't be done.

It's not just a courtesy, but expected protocol, to post certain info, like your device model, its Android version, etc. That's not just for the convenience of current readers, but so that people doing Internet searches in the future will find it.

Kindly post your relevant info.

Without knowing which device you're using, its Android version, or any of the 30+ applications you've tried, we can't be of much help.

Some other info that would be useful: which operating system you use on your computer(s), how advanced you are (Linux expert, for example), why you want to root your device, and if you're attempting to do it using a '1-click root app.'

Please provide the info we need, and we'll be happy to help you root your device--if it's possible. :)
 
yeah we are cool here, but sometimes lazy. what phone do you have?

and just an fyi here is some info:
  • always head on over to xda developers forum for all things root.
  • when you are there, look for your device's forum.
  • if you do not see a forum for your device....that is not a good sign for rooting your device. no forums usually means that none of the developers are currently supporting your device. no devs=no fun
  • if you do see a forum, then the future looks bright for gaining root. check the sub forum for android development or roms, kernels and other development sub forums for root guides and info.
  • not all devices have a universal rooting process. it may vary according to the device.

Sorry for being a poopy head. It has been very frustrating for me not being able to root my phone with *the best root tool on the internet* for example kingo root, Cf auto root, i-root, magisk. All of these have failed. I have android 8.0.0 oreo I have about 1gb of storage left if I need more I'll just back up some stuff and enialate it.
 
A search for your device (Samsung galaxy sol 3 sm-j336AZ) on XDA (and I did dig through your profile to find it but in the future please just post it, much easier and you'll get more responses) reveals-
Nothing.
So it is unlikely that there has been any development for it which is not surprising as there rarely is for most low- to mid-range phones.
Even if you could manage to get one of the 1-click "one size fits all" root apps to work on it, those of us who know something about this stuff will highly discourage doing so. Many of those apps are dangerous in that they can either brick your device or mine the data on it and send it to China or elsewhere you don't want it to go (or both).
It won't be the answer you want, but the best course of action is to leave the phone as-is.

in the past (early android os) one click roots worked on a lot of devices. however since rooting usually means that it takes advantage of exploits or weaknesses in the os, most manufacturers and even carriers have made improvements and thus rooting gets harder as updates are made.

like i said in my earlier post, if there is no forum for your device then that means there is no developers working on your phone. not all phones are rootable and sometimes the root process is device specific. however i did find this thread, you might want to try it:

basically oem unlock and then use kingo root. not sure how successful it will be, but good luck

one last thing, even if you do gain root, since there is no custom recovery, you need to be very careful with what you do to your phone. having a custom recovery in my opinion is as important as gaining root on a device. the main one that i would recommend is twrp. but twrp has not made a recovery for your phone.

having a custom recovery allows you to do many things. the most important being making a nandroid backup. nandroid backups are a complete backup of your phone. it is like a save point in a video game so that if you mess up, you can always restore a nandroid backup.

since there is no way to backup the phone, be very careful on what you remove. a lot of system apps are intertwined with each other. you delete one and you might screw up another app....so there is potential of making your phone inoperable.

that is the only bit of info i can find.

and it is not just about the os. for most phones it has to do with the manufacturer, your carrier, and the chipset.
