AOD and Lock Screen after a restart?

I noticed that every time I restart my Note 10+ the AOD and Lock screen seems to reset itself. Only when I unlock and get into my home screen and after a few seconds everything seems to go back to how I have the AOD and Lock screen set up. Anyone else noticed this? how to fix?

If these are 3rd party setups then thats probably normal. The phone boots up and then the apps boot up. I see that too on a 3rd party app that runs on the home screen. I will see the stock wallpaper first then the 3rd party one. Perhaps Samsung wil update this behavior in a future update,. But i would not worry about it being an issue.

well i noticed, for some reason that after waking the phone up it somehow reset back to the original wallpaper. i rebooted the phone and all is good. it only happened once, so far.

just curious how often do you turn your phone off? or restart your phone?

Once a week, especially after updating lots of apps.

hmmmmm since i got my phone, the only time i have either shut it off or restart the phone was last night. last night i finally got the latest update and it shutdown and restarted the phone. i guess i'm just lucky as i have not had any issues where a reboot was needed. with all my devices, i never turn them off.

I think what you’re seeing OP is normal. Based on your settings, the phone’s environment etc, and using 3rd party apps for the lock screen that may or may not be optimized for the device. Everyone’s phone is setup differently, some have battery optimization turned on, etc so in your case , depending on how you’ve set things up, this could be expected behavior.
