Help HTC unlock. Please help

I have recently purchased an htc and a samsung phone but its locked to Orange network. They were on sale and I live outside of Europe. Can anyone assist me in getting them unlocked please?

call the carrier you wish to be on and they should be able to do it on their end.

Thank you. Yes I have tried that but without success. I was told the contract must be completed before the sim is unlocked. Do you know any third parties that can assist with sim unlocking?

Sometimes local shopping malls have booths and kiosks. that might offer phone unlocking.

Ok thank you. I tried but price is very high. A friend of mine recommended htcsimunlocker.com and samsungsimunlock.com. Are they worth a try?
Seems cheaper as well.

It pays to be careful when buying used phones, I once had a phone locked to Vodafone in the UK, which resisted the independents' attempts to unlock it. and Voda were no help. The issue of contract was irrelevant as it was a PAYG phone.
