Is the Motorola G7 Optimo the same as the Motorola G7 Play?

Really? Motorola customer support team me they're the wanna device. The Optimo is the same as the G7 Play except it's only for certain carriers. A subsidized phone. Same hardware though. They actually referred me to the G7 Play manual since the Optimo doesn't have one.

well i saw a g7 optimo max and g7 play. i did not look at specs though. it is possible that they are the same, just on different carriers.
 
I'm not talking about the G7 Maxx. Just the Motorola G7 Optimo. Which from what I've heard is the equivalent to the G7 Play. The G7 Optimo Maxx is the equivalent to the G7 Power. Can anyone else confirm this?
