Samsung Galaxy Note5 - dm-verity error

Hello,

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note5 on t-mobile, worked perfectly without any problems last week. One day I unplug it in the morning and it was stuck in the lock screen didn't do anything, after couple of hours, I turned it off and rebooted. It booted well but after few minutes it restarted again, this happened for few times/hours, then i found online that may be one of the app is doing this. I hadn't installed any apps recently but I started removing the Oculus VR, Samsung VR and some other apps but it kept rebooting in between. Then I read that I should Clear the Cache Partition. So I entered the Recovery mode and did that same. I rebooted after that but since then it has gone into reboot loop.

On the bottom of the screen, it is displaying,
No Support SINGLE-SKU
Supported API: 3
dm-verity error...
failed code : 0x02

Any help in the right direction would be much appreciated. I read that I can reset it to factory setting and it will work, most likely but I may loose my data. And the point of fixing this is I have data that I need before the factory reset.

I also found couple of websites which are claiming to recover the data in such situations, are they legit and/or is there really a way for them to recover my data with their software? 1) fonelab 2) jihosoft

Gratitude!

Hello everyone, It's been a month and nobody has responded on this thread and I couldn't find the solution to my problem by searching a lot of message boards, it's hard to believe that others haven't gone through this problem and/or tried to solve it or solved it. It's not just samsung galaxy note5 related problem. it is android related as I found few other people with different phones having similar issues. I would be very grateful if anyone can help to get my data out of this phone. Thanks again!

Thank you for your response. I do not want to take a chance as the data on it is more important to me so if it doesn't work then I may loose it. I appreciate your help.

Tbh I think your data is lost.....I don't think there is not much you can do..... might as well try flashing the firmware so that you have a working phone.
