Will pushing on the Motorola G7 Play screen with my thumbs to push the phone out of a case?

Will pushing on the Motorola G7 Play screen with my thumbs to push the phone out of a case with a built-in screen protector crack the screen just from my thumbs, and would I easily notice the cracks or would I not notice them at all?
