forgot the pin password lg g4 H11

I have an LG G4 I forgot the pin password so I cant unlock the phone to use it.
I bought some software from wondershare “Dr Fone” to hack into the phone by bypassing the pin code (I guess). The computer does not seem to be recognizing the LG. It is a Macintosh running OS El Capitan 10.11.6
I got the phone into download mode/firmware update but thats it. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Without the proper credentials you are not going to bypass it.

FYI you actually bought snake-oil, it doesn't work.

unfortunately the only way is to do a hard reset. this will trip FRP (factory reset protection). it is a security protocol so you will need to know your google acct information.
