Help Smartphone as a remote control

As you know, we can use our smartphones as a remote control..Once I tried downloading an app to convert my smartphone to a remote control..But unfortunately, the app's compatibility list didn't show my TV brand and I give up the attempt. However, I need to try again as my remote control is not working properly? what is the best universal remote control app I can try? It app is not a good method, Is there another way to use my smartphone as a remote control?

does your phone have an ir blaster built in? if so then it should work. if not then you can't use it as a remote.

It's none of my business, so don't worry about explaining if you'd rather not, but why not simply buy a universal remote? They're not expensive, and will still work when you get a different TV.

Yeah get an universal remote. They work with a lot of tinkering too
