My Facebook news feed isn't showing up. Its states can't connect tap to retry. I have uninstalled & reinstalled, cleared cookies & cache, restarted my phone, & changed my password. My stories are showing up. I can still access my groups & friend by typing in the name only & also accept friend request. Any reason why this is happening & how can this be rectified?

A couple of things come to mind:

1) Are you sure you have internet connection?
2) Have you been banned from FB?
3) Are you able to connect otherwise?

Yes I have a connection. I can like, post, & comment so I am not banned. I can also connect. It just doesn't make sense why my news feed won't connect.

Hmm. Are you low on memory possibly? Not sure why it effects the ability to connect, but I've seen it happen. Also do you have the app saved on an SD card? Same problem with that sometimes.

Also have you done a speed test to check your upload and download speed recently? You might in fact be connected but have a slow connection... just a thought.
