Android photos on desktop

Unsure how many people are aware of this method to access your phone photos from the desktop using the following URL. I discovered it a couple of months back and thought maybe helpful to others. Use this URL:

https://www.google.com/photos/about/

This allows you to access your photos on Win10 [at least] that Google has backed up, download photos and some basic editing functions. You don't need to hassle with using an app like Airdroid or connecting a USB cable to move your photos to the desktop! You do need to log into your GMail photo backup account.

i use it all the time. it is the best advantage of using google photos on your phone. i can take a picture, wait for it to sync, then hop on my computer to view the photo without ever having to connect it via usb to my computer.

a lot of people do not use google photos which i do not understand.

In my situation, I am using coolmuster android assistant to help us access to photos on Android phone from computer. I can also use it to back up photos to computer directly. It's easy and safe. Maybe you guys can have a try.

It took me quite a while to realise that Google Photos was the easiest way to get photos onto my desktop. I had even tried emailing them to myself
