I want to return phone and stop service

Bought a phone it worked one day. . Was going to allow replacement until I read in here is be getting a refurbished used one,,,, less then 30 days port in it doesn't even charge... Paid 60 for service I can't use.. .u know y'all comments show that y'all are not willing to pay a couple bucks for shipping on your end and don't care that we buy phones new and your saying we get USED PHONES on top of it all. Thank God I found how you really roll all go elsewhere.

sorry, but i'm not quite sure i understand what you are trying to say. your run-on sentences are a bit hard to understand. are you basically saying that you bought a new phone and that it only worked for one day? and that you have a bad charge port? and now you want to get a used refurbished phone, am i correct?

what phone do you have? and i will never say or recommend you get a refurbished phone. new is always better. more expensive, maybe, but still better.

I I'm posting on what I read on here. Metro employees saying the warranty isn't where they will give a phone off the shelf because it would cost them to much money to ship it. And that warrentys not for the customer happiness but for the metro workers and that were told we getting another new phone but we actually get refurbished phone. I got the Alcatel 3v

What I was SAYING is that if that's how metro rolls that's messed up because phones aren't cheap I know I paid $195 for my cell and WHAT I expected Is to get what I paid for not some used fixed up one

it is a common practice. when i had my note 8 that i bought at Best Buy, i also bought Geek Squad protection. and when i dropped the phone and broke the glass to camera lens, they replaced it with a refurbished one. not much of a say on my part. it worked great never had any issues. like you i would have preferred a new one, but i get it. new ones are quite expensive these days and if you read the fine print for the Geek Squad protection, it says right there that you will get a refurbished one. i guess it is kind of better than the old days for BB as they used to give you a loaner phone and send your phone in to get fixed.

Have you tried talking to Metro and telling them that the phone is defective and that you want a new replacement? Rather than going on what was posted in a 5 year old thread.

I don't know US consumer law, but under UK law you'd be entitled to a full refund or replacement.

ahh yeas if you just bought it then yes that is very different then my scenario. i would go back pissed off and demand a new phone or get your money back as @Hadron suggested.
MY PHONE I JUST BOUGHT IT DEC 4 2019. REFURBISHED I WILL NOT EXCEPTED AT ALL .. NEW ARE I WILL NOT EXCEPTED IT AND ALL SEND IT BACK AND THEY WILL GIVE ME IT

Sure, but did you try taking it back and did they try to fob you off with a refurb, or are you just reacting to what was written here almost 5 years ago? Because I've read every one of your posts and I don't know which it is.

I get the feeling you're a little confused, Stacey cogswell. You're speaking as if we're somehow connected to your phone:

"u know y'all comments show that y'all are not willing to pay a couple bucks for shipping on your end and don't care that we buy phones new and your saying we get USED PHONES on top of it all. Thank God I found how you really roll all go elsewhere."

This is Android Forums, just a place for Android users to talk to other Android users. :)

We can't do anything about your problem, other than offer advice on how to handle the situation.

Speaking of advice, it's really a good idea to write coherent sentences, use punctuation, and spell words correctly.

For example:

"NEW ARE I WILL NOT EXCEPTED IT AND ALL SEND IT BACK"

I believe you mean:

"NEW OR I WILL NOT ACCEPT IT AND I'LL SEND IT BACK"

Also, "your" means 'belonging to you,' like "your phone," while "you're" means 'you are.' So this:

"and your saying we get USED PHONES"

should be:

"and you're saying we get USED PHONES"

Expressing your problem clearly, and in the appropriate place, can be very effective!

THANK YOU ALL YOU YOUR RESPONSES.. BUT THEY SRUGGED ME OFF SAYING I COUL COULDN'T GET A REFUND.. THAT EVER THOUGH MY PHONE WON'T PERPO ON AND I HAVE RECIEPT AND I HAVE ORIGINAL PACKAGE .. THERE SAID I COULDN'T GET A REFUND AFTER SEE 7 DAYS AND. THEY SAID I HAVE A REPLACEMENT BUT. .I HAVEN'T GOTTEN IT YET. I CAME IN HERE ASKING FOR YALL HELP.... I'VE DEMANDED AT SCREAMED YELLED. NOTHING SO CAN SOMEONE HELP

We understand that you're upset, Stacey cogswell, but SHOUTING at us won't help anything. :)

Personally, I would not tolerate the way you're being treated by Metro. Each time I buy a new phone (which I do directly from the manufacturer, Motorola), I carefully read its warranty.

I bought a new Moto Z² Force Edition last year around this time. Six months later, it had a problem (screen burn-in), and Motorola promptly shipped me a new replacement--per the warranty I agreed to.

If your warranty provides for a new replacement, don't accept anything less. If I had just bought a new phone and it stopped working almost immediately, I'd INSIST on a new, not refurbished, replacement.

You may need to contact customer service and escalate this, i.e., demand to speak to a supervisor who has the authority to send a new replacement. But keep your cool! Letting them know you're pissed off is one thing, acting out is quite another.
